The Austro-Hungarian army was founded in 1867 following the Austro-Hungarian compromise, Consisting of the might armies of the Austrian Empire and the Kingdom of Hungary they were destined for greatness. Deploying almost 8 million soldiers the dual monarchy took part in one of the deadliest wars in human history. Following this the Empire would collapse at the end of World War I.
