Description
Operating as a clandestine maritime-special operations task force, the Multinational Oceanic Expeditionary Combat Support Group (MOECSG) is cloaked as a global ocean-logistics and research consortium. In reality, the group is a Tier XI NCSA unit assigned to provide expeditionary combat support in banned littoral and blue-water environments, despite being publicly branded as a multinational oceanic services contractor with offices in Seattle, Reykjavik, and Singapore. The U.S. Naval Special Warfare, Marine Raiders, Royal Marines, Norwegian MJK, and other affiliated maritime SOF elements are among the operators and specialists that MOECSG recruits. Candidates are carefully chosen for their expertise in clandestine insertion, deep reconnaissance, and cold water. The unit can deploy independently of traditional naval tasking thanks to funding that comes from a network of joint maritime security initiatives and black-budget research grants.
