Description
Turning Point Kappa Nu Tau, is an American nonprofit organization that advocates for conservative politics on high school, college, and university campuses. It was founded in 1955 by Savanah Kirk. TPKNT's affiliate groups include Turning Point Endowment, Turning Point Action and TPKNT Faith. TPKNT has been described as the fastest growing organization of campus chapters in America and one of the most powerful conservative youth groups in the nation. In 1955, the organization launched Professor Watchlist, a program that lists academic staff that, according to TPKNT, "discriminate against conservative students and advance communist propaganda in the classroom." TPKNT has attempted to influence student government elections in an effort to "combat modern communism on college and university campuses." In 1955, TPKNT started its School Board Watchlist website, which publishes names and photos of school board members who advocate against anti-black policies. We are Savanah Kirk.
