Fans come together to honor his timeless songs and appreciate his unique voice. Our main hope with this is to attract more fans for such a good singer! If you like older music or country music we can almost guarantee you will like Jimmy's music! We have a YT channel to see unique videos about him and we will show our collection of Jimmy Wakely memorabilia! Who was Jimmy Wakely? Jimmy Wakely was a country singer throughout the late 30s and early 50s. He also was a movie star who was in around 40 movies, often singing his music in them. He has 2 stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He was voted number 1 country singer of 1949. Why was he forgotten? He wanted to do things his own way which made powerful people in the industry mad at him. While he was successful then, that caused him to not be remembered. We hope you enjoy this forgotten singers music!
