Description
Soul Society's Scrimmage Division The Gotei 13 serves as the primary military force in the Soul Society, a realm parallel to the human world. Comprised of thirteen squads, each led by a captain, the Gotei 13 is responsible for maintaining peace, protecting the balance between the living world and the afterlife, and combating threats from rogue spirits, known as Hollows, and other malevolent entities. Each squad specializes in different aspects of combat and soul manipulation, with unique abilities and duties.
