Description
The 503rd MP Battalion (Airborne) is a deployable Military Police unit assigned to the 16th Military Police Brigade under the XVIII Airborne Corps. The battalion provides airborne-capable Military Police forces that conduct both combat support operations and law enforcement duties. Its responsibilities include area security, route regulation, detainee operations, convoy security, and battlefield circulation control during combat operations, while also supporting installation law enforcement, emergency response, and force protection missions when operating in a garrison environment.
