Military Assistance Command, Vietnam 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐄𝐟𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐭 – 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 ═───────────═ MACV was the top U.S. military headquarters in Vietnam, overseeing all American combat and advisory operations from 1962 to 1973. Composed of personnel from the Army, Navy, Marine Corps, and Air Force, MACV coordinated operations across the country, advised South Vietnamese forces, and managed logistics, intelligence, and strategy.
