The 'Preston Pals' or D Company 7th Service Battalion, Loyal North Lancashire Regiment was a British Pals Battalion during WW1, and they were all from the city of Preston in Lancashire. The Preston Pals was disbanded in February 1918, before the war ended. The Preston Pals had people from Blackpool, ####### and Chorley. For those who don't know Pals Battalions are where you sign up with your friends and family members meaning alot of people in these battalions knew eachother. They were also only used in WW1. Battles the Preston Pals took part in: Battle of Loos, 1915. Battle of the Somme, 1916. ######## campaign, 1917. This group is for the VDG
