Description
Church of the Second Hytoth, Associated with the Concord. Although classified as distinct Groups of Interest, it has come to be understood that the Concord of Veiled Star and Church of Second Hytoth actually represent two facets of a single cosmotheological order whose history stretches back before human civilization. Recovered scriptures and iconography make it clear that both of these come from an ancient religion that holds a belief in the annual renewal of existence itself in a cycle of death and rebirth, with each universe being a living world that dies off, seeding new universes with bits of god matter. In this integrated framework, “Church of the Second Hytoth” serves as its spiritual-prophetic branch, calling for readiness for “the coming universe” and rigorously supporting the metaphysical belief in “the Next Light.” This is because its priests understand starlight as a form of divine message and lead believers in “enlightenment and genetic purity.”
