[SIS] Sol Intelligence Service #34341337
Game studiosENscience fictionroleplayfictional organization
Description
Forming as a merger of various national intelligence services on Earth, the Sol Intelligence Service (SIS) is the interstellar intelligence agency of the United Nations responsible for information and intelligence gathering, using methods such as human intelligence and cyberintelligence to do so, alongside sustaining national security within Earth and the solar colonies. Operating at a much higher level of discretion and secrecy than Earth-based agencies such as the CIA and MI6, a majority of the SIS's activities remain classified and unbeknownst to the public eye, operating with little oversight and freedom to do whatever they want, above the boundaries of morality. The SIS is made up of Internal and External Intelligence divisions, both of which were organizations under the UN during the Martian Revolution. The SIS also played a major role in the Revolution itself, capturing intel on enemy positions and weeding out traitors within the SDC and Peacekeeper Corps.
