Liberty City Police Departmеnt #34364939
Description
Department Budget: 75 Annual Budget: $2.1 billion - The Liberty City Police Department (LCPD) was informally established in 1813 as a night watch, designed to patrol Liberty City’s streets. This was a common practice among newly founded cities in the United States of Amerika. The LCPD was formally organized in 1840 due to rising crime. The initial force comprised about 580 officers tasked with maintaining order in the rapidly expanding city. In 1867, the State of Liberty introduced the Liberty City Sheriff's Office (LCSO), with frequent clashes between city deputies and city officers, it didn't work out for long. The tension reached a peak during the 1871 the Liberty City Lawmen Brawl, resulting in the permanent disbandment of the LCSO. Today, the LCPD patrols the Boroughs of Algonquin, Broker, and Dukes, and receives over $237 Million in federal aid annually.
