𝐁𝐘𝐙𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐄 𝐄𝐌𝐏𝐈𝐑𝐄 ▬▬▬▬▬▬₪▬▬▬▬▬▬ At the start of the 5th century, the Dark Ages plagues much of Europe and Asia. The Roman Emperor, Constantine I, has founded a "new Rome" and with it, a creation of a new empire that would last for over a millennium - the Byzantine Empire. The empire takes its place on the pinnacle of history as a symbol of power and prestige, a perennial bastion of strength and an enduring stronghold which dominated the medieval age. The capital city, Constantinople, and its diverse peoples has transcended the imperial empire into a cosmopolitan society, united under the one true faith. In Byzantium, only the most resilient and enduring will rise amongst a sophisticated Byzantine meritocracy. ▬▬▬▬▬▬₪▬▬▬▬▬▬ The empire urges its subjects to engage with our various communication channels (via social links) to remain ever vigilant of the Emperor's will.
