Description
House Martell A Great House of Westeros & the Ruling Principality of Dorne. Formed from the union of the Andal House Martell & the Rhoynar refugees led by Princess Nymeria, uniting the petty kingdoms of Dorne by conquering them all during Nymeria's War. Fiercely independent, joining the Seven Kingdoms through marriage, on their own terms when they wanted to, rather than force. Known for their unique culture, independence & fierce spirit. Ruling from their castle, Sunspear, with a sigil of a sun pierced by a spear. "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken"
