They called themselves the Black Reapers, a name whispered with a mix of fear and respect throughout the city. Their origins were humble, born from a small group of ghouls who had once been scattered and hunted, until a figure emerged to unite them. Ken Kaneki, known for his resilience and compassion despite being a half-ghoul, took up the mantle of leadership with a determination to create a sanctuary where ghouls could thrive without the constant fear of the CCG's relentless pursuit.
