Description

The Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo was formerly a theater troupe created in 1972 by Danny Elfman's older brother Richard. But later on, passed to Danny himself. Around the late '70s, the group started to transition from a theater group to a more solid New Wave/Pop Rock/Ska band more focused on music rather than the theatrical style of the early years. And then so came to be the shortened name of Oingo Boingo. During this time Oingo Boingo experienced the height of their popularity throughout the 1980s. And then slowly started to fade out around the mid-90s when the band decided it was time to end. The band officially broke up in 1995. But they're still a god-damn good band.
