我們的主要工作 為達成使命，我們致力： 鞏固政府與市民之間的溝通途徑；向市民闡釋政府的目標、政策和服務；收集、評估並向政府反映市民的意見和期望，使政府施政能夠因時制宜。 通過地區管理委員會，統籌地區上的各項政府服務以及公共設施計劃的推展工作。 透過區議會和關愛隊的工作，更好服務市民。 鼓勵市民參與社區建設活動，以培養市民守望相助的睦鄰精神。 在發生緊急事故和天災的時候及之後，協助提醒市民保持警覺，並為市民提供臨####，以及協調各項支援服務和善後工作。 監察和評估政府為內地新來港定居人士及少數族裔人士所提供的支援服務，使他們能盡快融入香港社會。 進行地區小型工程和推行大廈管理措施，以改善市民的居住環境；確保旅館、會社、床位寓所和卡拉 OK 場所符合安全標準；及發出遊戲機中心、有獎娛樂遊戲、公眾舞廳、獎券活動、麻將 ／ 天九、氹波拿和推廣生意的競賽的牌照。
