Description
𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐀𝐑𝐌𝐘 𝐎𝐅 𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐑𝐍 𝐑𝐎𝐌𝐄 (WIP) ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── The army of Eastern Rome was the primary military body of the Eastern Roman armed forces, serving alongside the Eastern Roman navy. It shaped and developed itself on the legacy of the late Hellenistic armies, and maintained a similar level of discipline, strategic prowess and organisation. It was among the most effective armies of western Eurasia for much of Late Antiquity and the Middle Ages.
