Description
The U.S. Army Training and Doctrine Command (TRADOC) is responsible for training, educating, and developing the U.S. Army. TRADOC's mission is to ensure the Army can win on any battlefield, against natural disasters, or against homeland threats. TRADOC's responsibilities include: TRADOC recruits and trains soldiers, civilians, and leaders. TRADOC also has centers of excellence that focus on specific areas of expertise, such as maneuver and signal, and train more than 750,000 soldiers each year. Developing leaders TRADOC develops adaptive leaders and provides professional military education. Supporting unit training TRADOC supports unit training and builds and integrates formations, capabilities, and materiel. Guiding the Army through doctrine TRADOC establishes standards, drives improvement, and leads change to guide the Army through doctrine.
