𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 — 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐬 “Enemies to the Wind, Swords in the Sand, The Marches Endures All” ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The Marches is the large peninsula that makes up the southernmost part of Westoria and is one of the constituent regions of the Seven Kingdoms. Family members of the Paramount style themselves as “Prince” and “Princess” as a consequence of the Treaty of the Aurelian in 294 BC. During Vaelon's Conquest, he subjugated each of the Westorian monarchs one by one, except for the Marches. When the March Campaign of 295 BC was begun by Vaelon, the people of the Marches rejected his army and engaged House Valkorian in a series of guerrilla warfare attacks, which pushed back the Conqueror and his armies, even injuring the dragons of House Valkorian on two occasions. As a result, Vaelon negotiated a peace known as the Treaty of the Aurelian, which would allow perpetual independence of the Marches.
