The Mission of the Oakdale Correctional Emergency Response Group is to be a specialized tactical unit that acts as the emergency response or support team for the Department of Corrections. Their role is dispersing huge fights or riots, assisting during lockdowns, escorting high risk inmates, heavy yard reinforcement, and CO armored support. All aimed towards maintaining the highest order and control of the prison. C.E.R.T will be a selective & trained embodiment of personnel who are able to adapt and neutralize any situation handed to them.
