Description
The Imperial Senate, officially known as the Galactic Senate of the New Order, was the last remaining political institution carried over from the Galactic Republic. It existed during the early and mid-years of Emperor Palpatine’s rule as a symbolic legislative body meant to maintain the illusion of democracy across the galaxy.
