"Apart, we are Broken. United, we are God" . . The Church of the Broken God is a group that believes in a mechanical deity called the Broken God or Mekhane. They think this god was once whole but got broken into many pieces scattered around the world. Their main goal is to find all these pieces and put their god back together. . Members of the Church love technology and machines. They even add mechanical parts to their own bodies to be more like their god. Because of this, they often clash with the SCP Foundation, an organization that wants to contain and study strange objects, including the ones the Church worships. . One important object for the Church is SCP-882, which they believe is a piece of their god. The Church has leaders and prophets who help guide the followers in their quest to gather all the pieces of the Broken God. . The Church's mix of faith and love for technology makes them a unique and interesting group in the SCP universe.
