At the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital, the soothing, patient-focused environment embraces the needs of children from birth through adolescence and into young adulthood. A modern facility with children’s play and family kitchen areas, it features private inpatient rooms with Internet access and flat-screen plasma televisions. Parents are encouraged to take part in their children’s treatment and hospitalization and are welcome to stay overnight. The Joseph M. Sanzari Children's Hospital was planned in conjunction with The Deirdre Imus Environmental Center, and designed to be a "green" hospital. The Joseph M.
