Grenadier Guards Infantry 1940s #34634907

Description
The Grenadier Guards in the 1940s were an elite British infantry regiment serving both as ceremonial royal guards and hardened frontline soldiers during World War II. Recognizable by their red tunics and bearskin hats in ceremonial settings, they traded that image for full combat gear when deployed to battlefields across Europe and North Africa. They were disciplined, highly trained troops expected to shift instantly from flawless public duty to brutal, effective warfare.
