𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐈𝐎𝐍 𝐅𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐂𝐀𝐈𝐒𝐄 𝐌𝐨𝐭𝐭𝐨: "Vive le Feu" 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦: "Le chant du feu" 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐭: Capitaine Lakeland_IV The French Volunteer Legion, simply the "Legion", are the volunteers who raise the tricolor abroad. 𝐎𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐞𝐰 The Legion is an specialized infantry unit raised to fight for France in foreign lands. Originally designated as a disciplinary division, against all odds it became the most successful volunteer unit whose combat history enflames the world. The Legion and its young veterans claim victory on every corner of the globe, in service of both the French tricolor and another banner equally detestable. Considered far worse than their commanders, the Legion brings with it more fear than liberty; a motif which prides its legionnaires, but dishonors the French. Despite all the victories they bring, it is unspoken truth that they are fated to defeat, as the flame that lights their conquests also scorches themselves.
