Description
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police Emergency Response Team consists of police tactical units spread across Canada, primarily comprising part-time teams. ERT officers utilize specialized tactics, weapons, and equipment to manage high-risk situations. ERT teams operate as a floating work-site team, enabling them to be activated from their residences rather than from an RCMP office. These teams are mandated to operate both domestically and internationally as required by law. The "O Division" is a Royal Canadian Mounted Police headquarters based out of London, Ontario. It includes an assault unit, a containment unit, and a support unit.
