Description
Deep beneath a mountain chain, hidden by collapsing stone and centuries of silence, lies the Vault. It was not built as a refuge but as a prison. Long ago, a cruel empire feared rebellion more than war, so they carved a labyrinth of iron and stone beneath the earth. Into it they cast their traitors, heretics, and unwanted children of the bloodline - a living grave meant to erase them from history. But the Vault did not remain silent. Over centuries, darkness seeped into its walls. Forgotten rites, the curses of the dying, and the bitterness of the exiled fed the stone itself until the Vault became a living tomb. Shadows coil in its corridors, and whispers drip from the walls like water. The empire that created it has long since fallen, yet the Vault endures, feeding on despair.
