Description
State of New Holland, located on the Northeastern coast of North America founded in part by English and Dutch settlers alike hailing from an early colonial heritage dating as far back as the early 17th century. New Holland played a pivotal role in the fight for independence during the 18th century, hosting Dutch mercenaries for the duration of the war. The state is known for its maritime trade, bustling ports and boasts one of the nation's largest port cities to date following the Industrial Revolution. The State of New Holland was officially formed on January 4th, 1875 as a result of a territorial agreement between neighboring states and was offered federal recognition due to its distinct cultural and economic identity. The state has been divided between two administrative districts, Easthaven County and Driftwood County, with Easthaven County holding the seat of the administration and the Governor's House.
