Their ancestral seat, Kingsgrave, is an imposing fortress guarding the gateway between the Marches and the Westorian realms. Renowned for their ruthless prowess in battle, House Vlandia's history is marked by generations of fierce warfare. House Vlandia's ancestral seat was originally named Opole, but it was renamed Kingsgrave after a pivotal event during the Second March Campaign in 180 BC. When King Tiserion I Valkorian sought to subjugate the Marches once more and suppress their growing desire for independence, House Vlandia and its allies were the first to face the Valkorian forces. Due to several military blunders by the young king, he met his end at the hands of a knight of House Vlandia.
