The ‘Apollo’ Group was established under its formal name Private Security Company ‘Apollo’ during the American invasion of Northern Iraq. The Group was formed mainly to act as a counterpart of the Blackwater and served to protect American officials and other men and women in power through the region. The Group’s fame and infamy grew larger through the scale of invasion raised and the group’s involvement was increased into the conflict rather than just being an independent party. As of now the PSC ‘Apollo’ has numerous sites of operations and tens of thousands of operators across the globe with its own network.
