UNIT(S): ξ-8 SMU (Troop β), MTF σ-9 MISSION-SET: Armed Mobile Task Force ξ-8 is a battalion-strength Foundation task force responsible for the location, containment, acquisition, and termination of Sarkic entities, organizations, artifacts, and biological anomalies. ξ-8 SMU serves as the unit's specialized Special Mission Unit (SMU), conducting high-risk direct action operations, high-value target interdiction, personnel recovery, and other special operations in support of ξ-8's mission.
