Dai Tokugawa Bakufu is an alternate-history Japan where the Tokugawa Shogunate survived the Boshin War, modernizing with Western military aid while keeping samurai at the core of society, and evolved into a highly militarized, clan-based government that industrialized, won wars against China and Russia, built an empire in Korea and Manchuria, and by WWII is led by a female shogun after a stray bullet took what was the previous shogun
