B COMPANY 2ND BATTALION RHODESIAN AFRICAN RIFLES ------------------------------- The Rhodesian African Rifles was a regiment under the nation of Rhodesia. It was originally formed in May 1940, in which it participated in operations against Japanese forces in Burma during WWII. After WWII, the Rhodesian African Rifles (RAR) were sent to help conduct counter-guerrilla operations against Maoist guerrillas in Malaya. After their tour in Malaya, Rhodesia declared a Unilateral Declaration of Independence in 1965, leading to the start of a lengthy guerrilla war in which the Rhodesian African Rifles excelled in. ------------------------------- COMMUNITY : Troopies & Terries COMMANDING OFFICER : flebsyfan100
