Description
Ever since its creation in 1496, the Sultanate of Aceh has stood proudly against the test of time and many enemies, with its army and navy standing proud amidst the many nusantaran states around it. However, with the death of Sultan Iskandar Muda, the decline of Aceh and its subsequent isolationism begins. This policy will be reversed by the rise of a new sultan on the throne circa 1787, and the Sultanate rapidly modernized and started to adopt western ideals. In only twenty years, they have became on par with many western states and possessing some of the strongest armies known! Will the kingdom succeed in its quest as the hegemon of maritime South East Asia? Or will it fall back to destitute and become just another colony? The sultanate awaits your enlistment!
