Description
The Naval Special Warfare Development Group, also known as "DEVGRU", "NSWDG" or even "SEAL Team 6", is a Tier-1 unit within the Joint Special Operations Command (JSOC) and stands in the name of "Special Missions Unit" (SMU) along with other component such as the 1st Special Forces Operational Detachment-Delta (1st SFOD-D or "Delta Force") or the Intelligence Support Activity ("ISA"). The Navy SEAL Team 6 is apart of the Naval Special Warfare Command (NSWC), being deployable in SEa, Air, Land, like the other SEAL units within the Navy SEALs. DEVGRU's selections will be different than the other SEAL Teams selections, skipping the BUD/S and directly put into the Green Team, where recruits will go through a harsh and intense training. This group is mainly focused on ro-MILSIM, conducting direct action raids, high-value target elimination, clandestine operations or even rescue missions (hostage, embassy...) as a component of the DEVGRU's Red Squadron.
