The Jedi Order are a peacekeeping monastic spiritual organization and order comprised of Light side Force-users, dedicated to protecting the Galactic Republic. During the course of galactic history a war broke out known as The New Sith Wars, which were characterized by a spectacular rise of the Sith, the decline of the Galactic Republic, and a growing militancy in the Jedi Order.
