𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐧𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐬𝐭 — 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐬 & 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞 “From the Summits to the Sky, Our Honour and Fidelity Reign” ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The Mountains & Vale, or simply the Vale, is one of the constituent regions of the Seven Kingdoms of Westoria. Historically known as the Kingdom of the Mountains and the Vale, it was formerly a sovereign nation ruled by the Monarchs of the High Sky before Aegon's Conquest. For centuries, the Mountains & Vale has been one of the only regions ruled by a single house throughout its existence: House Alderis, which rules from the impenetrable fortress in the sky known as the Aeyrie. The people of the Vale are known as reliable warriors, steeped in honor and the pursuit of duty. The knights of the Vale consider themselves the finest in the Seven Kingdoms of Westoria; however, this may not be true due to the existence of the White Cloaks. Nonetheless, they maintain a fierce reputation as a fighting force.
