Description
Established in 1718, the 1. Silesian Cuirassier Regiment has the honor of being the oldest Prussian cavalry regiment in service during the Liberation Wars. The regiment would serve with distinction during the hard fighting at Leipzig and Liebertwolkwitz, the Cuirassiers would continue to serve as a reserve during the Cent Jours.
