The Austrian Democratic Republic, or East Austria (Österreichische Demokratische Republik or Ostösterreich in German) is a Soviet Satellite state centered in East Vienna, similar to the German Democratic Republic centered in East Berlin. the ADR's government is that of a Socialist Federal Republic, and is headed by the Austrian Communist Party which is itself headed by the General Secretary. The government also has an elected assembly, the Volksrat. The official language is German, Though minority languages are protected. The Revolutionäres Volksarmee, or Revolutionary People's Army is the military of the Austrian Democratic Republic. Several branches of the organization exist, Some only nominally part of the RVA. The RVA is closely monitored by both Domestic and Soviet intelligence services. The ADR officially claims all of Austria in addition to South Tyrol (With notable exception of Trent) although de-facto recognizes West Austria. Subgroups coming soon.
