Description
臺灣政府 | Taiwan Government ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ Taiwan operates on a modified version of the Constitution of the Republic of China, following a three branch system instead. These branches of government include (1) the Executive Yuan, (2) the Legislative Yuan, and (3) the Judicial Yuan. The Executive Yuan is the executive branch of Taiwan’s government, led by the Premier, who is appointed by the President. They are responsible for implementing national policies, managing government ministries, and drafting legislation and the national budget. The Legislative Yuan is Taiwan's unicameral legislature and the primary lawmaking body. They are responsible for passing laws, approving the budget, and overseeing the actions of the Executive Yuan. The Judicial Yuan is the highest judicial authority in Taiwan and oversees the court system. It interprets the Constitution, ensures the proper application of law, and protects individual rights. ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
