“In darkness, we remember.” Xalithar is a broken continent drowned in shadow, where empires ascend not from the virtue of men, but through blood and the will for dominion. In the world, the Nightsworn have power: ancient and powerful kingdoms forged in war, dark pacts, and the silence of forgotten gods. Above all, it is Noctherium, the most feared of all the Nightsworn kingdoms. King Vaelthorn Darkbane sits upon the obsidian spires of the Obsidian Throne, his gaze bending will and bone. He rules over a cursed region of black stone, eternal dusk and creatures born of nightmare, called Velkhareth. Xalithar’s lands are twisted. Black forests whisper forbidden truths. Mountains bleed. The sea hungers. What the law is can never be fully known to a person, but what it is not can be clear. And in this world, there is left only one truth. Power is not given. It is claimed.
