┏━━━━༻❁༺━━━━┓ Est. 1553 Current Year: 1954 ━─━────༺༻────━─━ The Orléaniste Empire broke away from France in the 1550s to form its own country. It features a unique blend of French-inspired culture and its own distinct traditions. The empire is governed by a bicameral legislature, consisting of a Senate and a Chamber of Peers, alongside a monarch and an elected prime minister who share political power. The empire is divided into 12 provinces and 36 communes, each represented in both legislative chambers. The royal family is currently headed by Empress Marie-Josephine, who most notably declared war on Germany in 1940 when the capital St-Lys was bombed by the Germans ultimately leading to the demise of her father, Emperor Louis-Philippe II. Empress Marie-Josephine coupled with the Vichy French government successfully expelled the German Occupation of France in 1943 after Orléaniste and Vichy French troops marched through the streets of Paris alongside one another.
