Thе Grеat War #34881460
Description
⚔️ The Great War is a community of nations which depicts battles from 1914-1918, better known as World War I. 🌿 How it started. It is 28 June, 1914 and Austrian Archduke Franz Ferdinand was assassinated by a Serbian. Austria-Hungary demanded that Serbia take responsibility for the assassination, but Serbia denied being part of the assassination. The Austro-Hungarians declared war on the Serbians. The Germans supported the Austro-Hungarians, while The Russian Empire gave their support to their traditional ally, the Serbians. The Russian Empire mobilized its military forces at the end of July, and Germany, to avoid a two front war, attempted to quickly invade France, a close ally to the Russian Empire. To extend the western front, Germany invaded Belgium, a neutral country. On the 3rd of August, 1914, Britain declared war on the German Empire, seeking to support the Belgian Neutrality. From here, World War I had begun.
