Cоhortes Urbαnae #34892568
Description
The Cohortes Urbanae were a special unit of soldiers in ancient Rome, established by Augustus to maintain public order within the city of Rome. Unlike the Praetorian Guard, which was focused on protecting the emperor, the Cohortes Urbanae acted as a police force, dealing with riots, crime, and other disturbances in the capital. 𝐒𝐏𝐐𝐑
