Description
The North Atlantic Treaty Organisation is an Inter-Governmental Military Alliance formed around the North Atlantic Teeaty of 1949. The Alliance’s main purpose is “To guarantee the freedom and security of its members through political and military means.” Major players such as the United States, France and Germany were quintessential in the establishment of the Alliance after the fall of previous attempts to deliver the same thing. Today the North Atlantic Council (NAC) is composed of multiple Member States, as the Alliance focuses on protecting Freedom, Liberty, and preserving the Security of Europe, North America, and all free States alike.
