Description
𝐑𝐄𝐆𝐍𝐔𝐌 𝐕𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐃𝐎𝐓𝐈𝐀 𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐘𝐍 𝐎 𝐀𝐑𝐓𝐇𝐔𝐑 Venedotia, in northwestern Wales, emerges as one of the strongest of these Romano-British successor states. Following Arthur's military reforms, Venedotia remains a militarized kingdom, with a powerful nobility that upholds Roman traditions, particularly in its army and legal systems. The kingdom's ruling dynasty claims direct descent from Arthur Ambrose, strengthening its legitimacy. By the time of Rhodri Mawr, Venedotia is known for its well-fortified cities and disciplined military. Its capital, Segontium is a center of Romano-British culture, with Latin as the language of administration and the church. Roman-style roads and forts still dot the landscape, maintained by the kingdom’s engineers. Venedotian armies, clad in Roman-inspired armor and using tactics derived from Roman legions, are among the most formidable in Britain.
