G&G | Spanish Empire #34931119
Description
The Spanish Empire was one of the major nations and most powerful nations across the globe due to its vast colonial holdings and its expertise in Pike and Shot warfare. Their nation's holdings would give the Spanish Empire the title, "the Empire on which the Sun never sets". Through its strong military and diplomacy, the Spanish would be left as hegemons across Europe up until the early 1700s, where the Spanish hegemony would end, and then in 1976 when the once glorious empire would finally, lay in its coffin. Alongside the Portuguese, the Spanish would help bring about the Age of Exploration, causing many nations across Europe to set sail around the globe to bring immense wealth to their motherlands. As war now begins to loom across the European continent between the protestants, the Spanish would align themselves with the Habsburgs in an attempt to further exert their power and protect their ruling dynastical branch in Germany.
