WELCOME TO FAWKES' NEXUS CORE! I'm sure you're wondering how we came about. Wasn't the Nexus Core essentially destroyed after the fall of Nexus City and the death of Phobos and Project Gestalt? Well, not exactly. You see, after the incidents at the former Science Tower, personnel not killed by Tangos were forced to make a tactical retreat out of the City and Nevada Central. I, Director Fawkes, have taken the mantle in the absence of the "God Emperor" Phobos. His ego was always overinflated, anyways. Though there are no plans to resume Project Nexus at this time, the Core still operates as a paramilitary faction within the grounds of several areas in Nevada. That's where you come in!
