The Enchanted Rock Interagency Hotshot Crew (ERIHC) is a nationally recognized Type 1 Interagency Hotshot Crew (IHC), based out of the Texas A&M Forest Service Field Office, in Fredericksburg, Texas. The crew is hosted and sponsored by the Texas A&M Forest Service (TFS), the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department, and operate under a cooperative partnership between the United States Forest Service Southwest Region The ERIHC was officially established on September 22nd, 2024. This followed a four year trainee period consisting of peer evaluations, an embedded review and a certification review. The ERIHC originated as the TFS Type II IA crew established in 2003 and originated as the Lone Star State Type II IA Handcrew.
