This community is set in the Jōmon period in Japan. The Jōmon period in Japanese history lasted from around 14,000 BC to 300 BC. During this time, Japan was home to groups of people who lived by hunting, gathering, and early farming. These people shared a common culture known as Jōmon, and over time, their way of life became more settled and developed.
